How I know God guides my photography.....

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies announce what his hands have made. Day after day they tell the story; night after night they tell it again. They have no speech or words; they have no voice to be heard. But their message goes out through all the world; their words go everywhere on earth."
Psalm 19: 1 - 4 (NCV).

Every time I look through the lens of my camera I see God working. Every day He reveals His majesty. Every night He shows me how He creates beauty even in the darkness. Even if I had not known Him before I started taking photos, the moment I looked at His creation up close (or far away) I see His glory and He guides me to see His beauty in all He has created. Photography just allows me to capture an image of what He has created.

May and June 2009 ~ Very busy months

(Faces in the rock - Natural Bridges State Beach)

(The three sisters)

(Pigeon Point Lighthouse)

Where did the time go? It's been a very busy month and a half since my last posting in early May. I took a few days away from Valley life and went along the Pacific Coast (from just south of Morro Bay up past Monterey and a short stop at the mission at San Luis Rey (that was May 20th through 22nd). I guess I needed to get back to the coast as it was starting to warm up in the Central Valley of California. Just a couple of weeks later I was back again, this second trip started just south of Santa Cruz and meandered up past Half Mood Bay along Hwy. 1. Just a couple of days. Beautiful weather and great views!

(Elephant Seal Beach)

(Warm glow at a cold sunset)

Is it the East Coast or the West Coast?

Black and White photos can be interesting and bring a different perspective.

(Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk June 2009.... looks like the 1940's)...

Well, rather than just ramble on; here are some of my photos... I hope you enjoy.

Also look at the next post of the Lake Tahoe and Virginia City, Nevada area)....

Did I ever mention that I collect lighthouses, and, that Pigeon Point is one of my very favorites?

You've done it again. Keep up the inspiring work, Brother Friend, and thank you for always sharing.

God bless you.
